OPERATION
The design of the SANDWICH mount gives the following basic characteristics :
➤ very slim;
➤ large surface area;
➤ stackable mountings;
➤ the suspended equipment is free to move in all directions;
➤ high ratio of compression stiffness to shear stiffness;
➤ very high compression loads.

➤ This base can support compression from 20 to 100 bars.
➤ The metal plates of this base are usually treated with phosphate for corrosion resistance.
➤ The elastomer is made of neoprene rubber, which has good weather resistance.
➤ This base is made by vulcanizing a single layer or multiple layers of elastic rubber onto parallel metal plates;
➤ The base comes in cylindrical and rectangular shapes;
➤ The base is designed to withstand large loads;
➤ The mechanical properties of the base are determined by the hardness of its rubber and the number of metal plates it contains.
